note to self

from now on... please stop doing long-winded projects for free. also... make sure you get people to credit you from time to time , you know, just for kicks - which leads me to another ponderance... time to drop old gigs and get some new ones. i've done about as much as i can do. also... i'm getting close to securing space for all of this divergent creative crap. BHAM is finally get a cohesive gig @ SXSW this year. This is being setup, of course, by SKYBUCKET RECORDS .

a few women (+ 1 web site) that kick ass.

1. alison hulsey . a little over 26 miles in a little over 3 hours. she placed 1st in her age group and 7th over all... out of hundreds and hundreds of people. after the race we have a very cool brunch with most of our closest friends. alison got to see more friends during the race in various "cheering sections" of the city. alison's sister, liz... ran the 1/2 marathon and finished 9th overall. both in the top 10 for their races. amazing. 2. jessica simpson . she's a few pounds heavier... and i think she looks sexy & healthy. i'm proud of someone who'm in the past has demostrated a vapid lack of societal awareness - now doing something noticeably positive... by just being herself. i'm not really into her new redneck post dukes of hazzard persona... but hey, a gig is a gig and i bet she has a big living room. i doubt she's ever read susan faludi's backlash , but she's at least doing something, to address female body image issues,...

America is Over

Federal obligations exceed world GDP Does $65.5 trillion terrify anyone yet? Posted: February 13, 2009 By Jerome R. Corsi © 2009 WorldNetDaily As the Obama administration pushes through Congress its $800 billion deficit-spending economic stimulus plan, the American public is largely unaware that the true deficit of the federal government already is measured in trillions of dollars, and in fact its $65.5 trillion in total obligations exceeds the gross domestic product of the world. The total U.S. obligations, including Social Security and Medicare benefits to be paid in the future, effectively have placed the U.S. government in bankruptcy, even before new continuing social welfare obligation embedded in the massive spending plan are taken into account. The real 2008 federal budget deficit was $5.1 trillion, not the $455 billion previously reported by the Congressional Budget Office, according to the "2008 Financial Report of the United States Government" as released by the U.S...

social network downsizing aka life after myspace

i'm doing some cleaning up re: all of the various online / social networking, content, musaic sites that i help manage. as of march 1st... i'll be eliminating my myspace profile. i'm already doing away with wownthesky's profile. in their place, i have (like everyone else) started using facebook exclusively, and i have updated my long dormant flickr profile with hundreds & hundreds of photos. recently i deleted my two verb accounts, as it seems that framework/site just never picked up steam. i'll be maintaining my vimeo (video) pages, but will do some consolidating there as well. i have done massive redesigns to my blog and my design-bookmarklet site @ tumblr.com, as well as custom coding for my flickr page. take a gander at the updated incarnations & redesigns: my profiles: weownthesky.com / official site vimeo.com/weownthesky / video clips via weownthesky vimeo.com/averyco / my personal video site my flickr page / all of my images averything.tumblr.c...

At 78, Clint might continue to do more directing and writing... but he said recently that he may be done with acting. He is certainly the most successful actor-director-writer in history.
