jacko - last shows in the uk

and my goodness, he's managed to look even more spooky! his nose is microscopic. apparently after he retires, he has plans on becoming some sort of transvestite bond villain. here are some photos from his press conference at the london 02 complex:

it's already march!

this is more of a journal entry than a newsworthy blog : after a week of home renovations at alison's house, and a lot of running around to home improvement stores and shopping centers... we finally had a relaxing, laid back weekend... we didn't go anywhere, and apparently niether did a lot of our friends... sunday was morning snow and afternoon sun. not too shabby. i also finally set up a tentative, tiny demo set-up... i plan on doing everything in laptop/daw except for some acoustic guitar. at this point, especially with the frighteningly cool software that is emerging ... i'm going to be hard pressed to go back to tracking every single instrument the old way. i've read pretty much everything about protools 8, and i'm going to be upgrading quite soon. the idea i reckon, is to make a few low key, self produced albums, release them digitally and attempt to license a few tracks, now that i'm finally heading in that direction. in other blah blah news......
