john p. strohm's newest solo record, "everyday life" will also make it's debut at the bottletree on may 19th. this will be strohm's first record on the superphonic records label.
the spots are in the process of finishing a local release of live improvisational music, tentatively titled "volume 7". we hope to have a record available by may or june, which will be sold online, around town and at our shows. these recordings were based on three 2hr live-in-the-studio recording sessions throughout 2006.
...and in the guilty pleasure department, nin is releasing a new record, "year zero" on april 17th. they are previewing the record online as of today. this is the 2nd studio record released by nin in less than 2 years. this is a good thing.
and yeah, of course... wilco's new record is dropping soon, but you don't need me to remind you.
